Meet Cameron Samek

Cameron Samek is an associate attorney at NicholsonPham. Cameron assists clients with a wide array of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, child support, name changes, equitable distribution, and domestic violence protective orders. Cameron also helps the Durham County Public Defender’s office provide appointed defense work for indigent parents in termination of parental rights cases.

Cameron received his JD from Elon University School of Law in December 2024. While at Elon, Cameron served as the Director of Finance for Elon Law’s chapter of OUTLaw, an LGBTQIA+ affinity club for burgeoning queer attorneys. Cameron also competed as a member of Elon Law’s Trial Advocacy team, worked as a Notes and Comments Editor for Volume 17 of the Elon Law Review, and served on the University’s Moot Court Board.

Cameron was a member of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Marching Tarheels and played trumpet for 11 years. He is an avid Magic: the Gathering player, enthusiastic cat dad, and intermediate home cook.
